Another 50 colleagues completed our one-day quality improvement training course in December.
The course, called Fundamentals, was held at Ditton Community Centre and attracted both clinical and non-clinical colleagues from across Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT).
Those attending included Gordon Flack, KCHFT’s Director of Finance, as well as two members of staff from mental health providers Kent and Medway Health and Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT).
The day included learning about what quality improvement means, where ideas for projects come from, how to start a project and how to measure improvement. There were also practical exercises to help colleagues get to grips with driver diagrams, run charts, statistical process control (SPC) charts – and lots more.
