Colleagues are encouraged to take a look at webinars and events coming up which focus on innovation and improvement.

A Tools for Population Health webinar takes place from 10am until 12noon on Wednesday, 24 January, organised by the Sussex Population Health Academy. This session will help you understand more about a population health approach, population health management, prevention, inequalities and how to use the tools in a regional context. From 1pm until 2pm on Monday, 29 January, there is an Elective Recovery: Inform and Innovate NHS England webinar. This will be a discussion of initiatives which have helped to transform outpatient services. It will Include case studies from trusts and how super clinics are helping to reduce waiting list back logs. An NHS IMPACT Sharing Event: Establishing Improvement, is from 9.30am until 11am on Thursday, 1 Feburary. This will be chaired by Ailsa Brotherton, Improvement Director on the National Improvement Board. This session will provide an update on the NHS IMPACT programme and the National Improvement Board.  In March there are three events colleagues might be interested in.

There is a Kent and Medway Women’s Health Innovation Summit from 12noon until 4.30pm on Wednesday, 6 March at the Kent and Medway Medical School. Clinicians, patients, students, academics, innovators and system partners all dedicated to revolutionising women’s health through innovation, leadership, inclusivity and system change are attending. From 9am until 3pm on Thursday, 14 March there is an NHS Net Zero online conference. This will look at stakeholders the NHS needs to engage with to combat climate change while delivering high quality patient care.  The event will look at behaviours, technologies used in estates, transport and innovation behind going Net Zero. Lastly, there is another Sussex Health Population Health Academy webinar from 10am until 12noon on Wednesday, 20 March, called What Works Where.
