Quality improvement helping with procurement

Ambrose Nwodoh

Ambrose Nwodoh has nearly completed his QSIR Practitioners course and already has a quality improvement project planned.

He is aiming to use the quality improvement tools and techniques to help in the procurement of a new electronic patient records system.

Ambrose, a Community Information System (CIS) trainer, said: “The QSIR course has been wonderful.  I’ve gained a lot of new knowledge and it’s not been mind boggling or overly statistical. It’s given me the confidence to start a quality improvement project in the healthcare environment, using evidence based methods which are tried and tested within the NHS.

“This is an empowering course and which I would highly recommend.”
