Our QI Conference 2022 programme is revealed

book your place quality improvement conference kent 2022

Guest speakers, interactive sessions and the chance to hear about quality improvement projects happening at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT) all feature in our QI Conference 2022.

Our guests are well-known nationally for their improvement work, knowledge and expertise. They are Lou Waters, a QI connector who started #QITwitter, connecting healthcare trusts around the UK and encouraging them to share great work, collaborate and learn from each other. We are also joined by Paul Devlin, from NHS Improvement and Nicki Pointer, from Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, who run NHS Kindness, a movement to spread positivity across the health service and improve wellbeing for colleagues, patients, their families and carers.

Some of the KCHFT improvement projects which will be under the spotlight include:

  • Rapid diagnosis of autistic spectrum disorder (ASD)
  • Improving podiatry for patients at the end of their lives
  • Supporting acute hospitals with patients who have learning disabilities
  • Improving how we communicate with parents regarding the National Child Measurement Programme

Delegates can attend face-to-face, at the Riverside Church, Thanet Way, Whitstable, Kent, or virtually. All presentations in the main room will be livestreamed to virtual attendees.

There will also be a poster competition, whereby all delegates will be able to vote for their favourite KCHFT project on a page or flash of brilliance from the past year. These will be on display at the venue and virtual delegates will be able to vote too, with voting instructions to be sent along with joining instructions nearer to the time. Meanwhile, they can be viewed on the projects page of our QI website
