Help shape a QI network for new nurses and midwives

Could you help with the co-design of a new quality improvement (QI) network for early career and newly qualified nurses and midwives?

An online meeting takes place at 2pm on Wednesday, July 26 and is being led by NHS England (NHSE). The session will be run by Professor Charlotte McCardle, NHSE’s deputy chief nursing officer and Jane Murkin, deputy director of safety and improvement – nursing.

The network aims to support nurses and midwives to develop and grow their knowledge, skills and experience in QI. The network will contribute to nursing and midwifery leadership development and workforce retention.

The Nursing Directorate are working in partnership with Kathryn Perera from the NHS Horizons team. Those attending the session will also hear from Dr Helen Bevan and Katy McDonald on #StayAndThrive – an international recruitment drive.
