If you have made changes at work and are doing something in a new and different way, please do think about entering the Innovate Awards 2023.
The Innovate Awards celebrate innovation in health care and are run by the Academic Health Science (AHSN) Networks and NHS Confederation.
There are 11 award categories to enter and there will also be a winner of winners award. NHS, Social Services and local authority colleagues can enter, as well as those working for other care providers. The awards represent an opportunity to shine a spotlight on new initiatives and collaboration, to support better health outcomes for patients.
The 11 award categories to enter this year are:
• Best use of data in health innovation
• Net zero innovation of the year
• The diversity in innovation award
• Excellence in patient and public involvement in transformation and innovation
• Innovation spread award
• Best workforce innovation
• Innovation helping address health inequalities
• Outstanding contribution to population health through innovation
• Innovative health system of the year
• Outstanding collaboration with industry
• Enabling safer systems of care through innovation.
The 12th award will be the winner of winners, innovation champion of the year – who will be selected by the judges from across the other category winners.
The closing date for submissions is midnight on Friday, 19 May 2023. Colleagues at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust are encouraged to enter, particularly those who have led quality improvement projects.
