The Clinical Audit Heroes Awards are now open for nominations, until Sunday, 5 May.
The awards are the highlight of Clinical Audit Awareness Week which takes place from 24 until 28 June. They are an opportunity to recognise, share and learn from the work taking place to improve the quality of healthcare for patients and those who use services.
Organisers are keen to encourage entries which support evidence-based quality improvement in healthcare, whether clinical audit or any other data-informed improvement project. The awards are open to projects, individuals or teams.
There are five categories which include patient safety, patient and public involvement, healthcare inequalities, influencing change and sustainability.
Winners will be announced during Clinical Audit Awareness Week (#CAAW24). This is a national campaign to promote the impact of clinical audit and quality improvement in healthcare. It is hosted by Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP), a not-for-profit clinical audit partner of NHS England, in collaboration with the local audit community N-QI-CAN.
