New improvement idea whiteboards are going up in staff areas at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT).
The whiteboards are being trialled within the sexual health service and so far are proving popular. Colleagues can write improvement ideas straight onto the boards, or attach a sticky note.
Ideas which have been added include keeping a new triage system, which was introduced at the start of the UK’s COVID-19 lockdown (March, 2020) – and working closer with pharmacy colleagues to see if reception could hand bagged and labelled medication straight to patients, rather than a nurse having to leave a clinic or consultation to do so.
