One of our colleagues here at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT) has been invited to join a panel of national experts, to present a talk about quality improvement (QI).
Natalie Parkinson, Assistant Director, Business Development and Service Improvement, will be speaking at the next NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE/I), Improvement Capability Building and Delivery meeting.
The group meets virtually on Monday, 16 August. The meeting will be hosted by James Mountford, NHSE/I Director of National Improvement Strategy.
Around 40 participants are expected, who work in the NHSE/I Improvement Capability and Delivery Team.
Natalie and other panel members will speak about their approach to quality improvement (QI) and how using the Quality, Service Improvement and Redesign (QSIR) programme has worked well and made an impact within their trusts. Natalie will report on how the programme has made change happen and about some of the benefits to colleagues and those who use our services.
Natalie was invited as not only does KCHFT use the QSIR programme to train colleagues, but she is also a QSIR teaching faculty associate.
