Sarah Denton, a Clinical Co-ordinator with Thanet Long Term Services, at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust, presented her quality improvement (QI) project to a national audience last week, at the Government Events Patient Safety Conference 2021.
Sarah’s project involved upskilling colleagues and making sure all team members felt valued. This resulted in a boost to staff morale, a 76 per cent reduction in sickness rates, colleagues successfully applying for new roles at higher bands and the knock-on effect of improved patient care.
Conference organisers approached Sarah and asked her to present. Find out more about Sarah’s project here
