Colleagues at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT) who are interested in research, will be pleased to know the Research Champions Programme is once again open to applications.
The popular programme has been running for seven successful years, with places now available for the eighth cohort, who will start in September.
The 12-month programme sees KCHFT working with the Centre for Health Services Studies (CHSS) at the University of Kent. It supports colleagues to gain the confidence and skills to make improvements to how things are done through the use of research and evidence-based practice.
Ideally suited to novice researchers who want to grow their understanding of research, it is specifically aimed at non-medical health and social care staff who have service improvement, development or evaluation ideas, which are supported by their service lead.
The year includes workshops at the university’s Canterbury campus and supervision from CHSS researchers. It can support those contemplating academic progression with the option for Masters level credits available.
There are a limited number of places and all applications require endorsement from their line manager to be considered.
If you would like more information about the programme, or to request an application form, please contact the KCHFT Research Team by emailing kchft.research@nhs.net
The deadline for applications is 5pm on Monday, 2 June.
