Admin teams at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust have been working closer together, resulting in a reduction in the amount of bank shifts used.
Admin in the acute response and frailty teams in east Kent decided to join forces to provide cover for each other when needed, enabling them to better support their clinical colleagues and be more efficient.
The quality improvement project led by Urgent Care Business Support Manager Renee Dunford, reduced bank shifts used from an average of nine a week to around three and a half.
