An organisation called Happy does exactly what it says on the tin — it runs workshops aimed at making people happier in the workplace.
And what’s more, Happy is offering free places on some of its courses, for NHS colleagues.
There are two events coming up, which both aim to increase joy in work, which is something our quality improvement (QI) team here at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT) promotes. Workshops also aim to reduce frustration.
Starting on the week beginning Monday, 17 January, is Productivity Blitz. Over five days this teaches five techniques to boost productivity, with attendees asked to pop along to 8.45am and again at 4.45pm, for 15 minutes both times. More here
An introduction to Liberating Structures is on Tuesday, 15 February. This is an interactive session over Zoom which will give tips on having more constructive and engaging meetings, getting the most from everyone in the team and feeling involved and able to contribute. Some of our colleagues attended a previous session in December. More here
For the discount codes, colleagues at KCHFT can find these on our intranet, flo, or contact the QI team via the support page here on our website.
